You did it! The minute you started your application you began a special journey, one where you can help complete strangers. Over our 25 years of operation, we've known so many mothers who chose to become a Surrogate simply because they want to help someone else complete their family.
But sometimes life gets in the way of our best intentions. If you feel like things keep popping up and keeping you from finishing your Surrogate Application, this email is for you! Here are our tips to help you complete your application in no time.
Do the easiest parts first. This is our favorite tip, so we listed it first – you don’t have to answer the questions in order. Start with all the easy sections first. Once you complete a few questions you’ll be on a roll and it’ll be easy to finish the rest!
Find a quiet space. Most of the application questions ask for basic information. But it can get harder to complete if you’re constantly being interrupted. So pick a place where you won’t be disturbed.
Keep the kids busy. Speaking of interruptions, when you block out time to finish your application make sure your kids have something to do. That could mean filling out your application while they’re in school or napping or finding someone to watch them.
Get snacks. Everything is better with your favorite snack!
Restart where you left off. Our application saves automatically. That means if you need to come back to it later, there’s no need to re-enter information. All your work will be saved every time!
Break it up. Since your progress is saved, it’s easy to complete your application over multiple sessions. The average applicant takes 45 minutes to complete. But instead of doing it all at once, you could try two 20-minute sessions or three 15-minute sessions – whatever works best for you!
